At Rothsville Fire Company Ambulance, our Advanced EMT capabilities allow us to provide an enhanced level of prehospital emergency medical care.

An Advanced EMT (AEMT) builds upon the skills of a traditional EMT, with additional training to perform approved advanced interventions, including:

🔹 Advanced airway management options
🔹 IV/IO access and fluid administration
🔹 Additional medication administration options
🔹 Expanded treatment capabilities for patients experiencing medical emergencies

AEMTs bridge the gap between the basic care provided by EMTs and the more extensive capabilities of paramedics.

All care is provided within Pennsylvania’s scope of practice, applicable protocols, provider training, and agency authorization.
